Creating A Discount Group Button

Display your Treez promotions in your menu

Selection Methods

Choose Specific Groups

Select individual discount groups:

  • Daily Deals
  • Flash Sales
  • Holiday Specials
  • VIP Discounts

Use Text Patterns

Filter groups by name pattern:

  • ^DAILY.* - starts with "DAILY"
  • .*BOGO.* - contains "BOGO"
  • ^FLASH.* - starts with "FLASH"
  • .*SPECIAL$ - ends with "SPECIAL"

Creating Your Button

1. Add Discount Group

  • Go to Locations > [Your Location] > Buttons
  • Click "Add Item"
  • Select "Discount Group"
  • Enable the button

2. Choose Discounts

  • Select specific groups, or
  • Enter text pattern filter
  • Choose to exclude inactive
  • Set display order

3. Configure Display

  • Add button label
  • Upload images (optional)
  • Set label visibility
  • Choose button position

⚠️ Important

Discounts must be active in Treez to appear in your menu. When using text patterns, test thoroughly to ensure you're capturing the right discount groups.

Common Issues

Discounts Not Showing?

  • Verify active in Treez
  • Check button is enabled
  • Review pattern syntax

Wrong Discounts?

  • Check group selection
  • Verify pattern matches
  • Review active status
