Setup Process

1. Configure in Joynt Admin

Start by registering your kiosk in the Joynt admin interface.

Steps:

  1. Navigate to Locations in left sidebar
  2. Select your location
  3. Click the Kiosks tab
  4. Click Add Item
  5. Enter a descriptive name (e.g., "Front Entrance Kiosk")
  6. Save the generated Kiosk ID
  7. Click Publish to save changes

2. Prepare Your Device

Set up your Android device for kiosk operation.

Device Settings:

  • 1. Connect to WiFi
  • 2. Sign in to Google Play Store
  • 3. Enable auto-updates
  • 4. Disable screen timeout
  • 5. Set maximum brightness
  • 6. Enable kiosk mode (if available)

Info: For best performance, use a dedicated WiFi network for your kiosks and ensure no other apps are running in the background.

Pro Tip: Use a dedicated Google account for your kiosk devices to manage updates and security centrally.

3. Install Joynt Kiosk

Install and configure the Joynt Kiosk application.

Installation Steps:

  1. Open Google Play Store
  2. Search for "Joynt Kiosk Menu System"
  3. Look for app by "Joynt Shops"
  4. Install the application
  5. Launch Joynt Kiosk
  6. Enter Domain Authority: www.[domain].[ext] or for testing: test.[domain].[ext]
  7. Enter your Kiosk ID

4. Test Your Setup

Verify your kiosk is working correctly before deploying.

Test Checklist:

  • • Menu loads correctly
  • • All categories are accessible
  • • Search function works
  • • Product details display properly
  • • Banners rotate as expected
  • • Touch response is smooth
  • • Network connection is stable
  • • Experience matches test environment before deploying to production

Common Issues & Solutions

Connection Issues

Menu Won't Load

Check:

  • WiFi connection status
  • Domain Authority spelling
  • Kiosk ID accuracy
