Essential Site Configuration

Building your digital foundation

With your digital storefront's importance in mind, let's configure the essential elements that create your professional brand presence. We'll set up your header, customize core settings, and configure your footer to create a cohesive customer experience.

Template Configuration Access

  • • Select 'Site' from the Content column
  • • Choose your site
  • • Preview changes in test environment: test.yourdomain.com/studio
  • • Update production when ready: www.yourdomain.com/studio
  • • Use Maintenance Mode when making significant changes to production

Note: Changes are saved automatically as you make them but won't be visible on your menu until you click the Publish button. Always preview changes in your test environment before publishing to production.

Header Setup

Your header creates the first impression and helps customers recognize your brand instantly. Navigate to the Header tab to begin.

Logo Configuration

  • Nav Bar Logo Settings

    Configure your primary brand logo:

    • • Size: 240x80 pixels
    • • Format: PNG with transparent background
    • • Version: Dark for light background
    • • Alternative Text: Add descriptive text (e.g., "Your Dispensary - Premium Cannabis Products")

General Settings

Essential configurations that define your digital presence. Navigate to the General tab to begin.

Brand Identity

  • Site Name

    Your business name as it appears across the platform

    1. 1. Enter your official business name
  • Favicon Settings

    Helps customers identify your site in browser tabs:

    • • 32x32 pixels for standard display
    • • 16x16 pixels for compact display
    • • Format: PNG files

Menu Display

Configure how promotional banners appear across your menu pages.

  • Layout Options

    Choose your promotional banner display style:

    • • Main Layout: Configure banner display on main menu page
      • - Premium Promotional: Multiple promotion slots with featured banners
      • - Standard Focus: Emphasis on menu categories
    • • Search Result Layout: Configure banner display on search results and filtered product pages

Product Images

Configure default product image display.

  • Product Image Settings

    Set up fallback images and accessibility:

    • • Fallback Product Image: Default image shown when no product photo is available in Treez
    • • Alternative Text: Add descriptive text for accessibility and SEO (e.g., "Quarter ounce jar of premium indoor flower")

Analytics Integration

  • Google Analytics Configuration

    Track menu performance and customer behavior. Learn more about customer behavior tracking

    • • Create or select GA4 property
    • • Copy measurement ID (G-XXXXXXXXXX format)
    • • Allow 24-48 hours for data to appear

System Configuration

  • Maintenance Mode

    Temporarily disable public access when making significant updates to production:

    2. 2. Make your updates
    3. 3. Disable when complete

Footer Setup

Configure essential business information and social connections. Navigate to the Footer tab to begin.

Footer Logo

  • Logo Requirements
    • • Size: 180x60 pixels
    • • Format: PNG with transparency
    • • Version: Light version for dark background
    • • File size: Under 1MB

  • Operating Hours

    Set your regular business hours:

    Monday - Saturday: 9:00 AM - 9:00 PM
    Sunday: 10:00 AM - 6:00 PM
